Terms of Use
Effective: September 10, 2026 · Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, operated by Mohamed Law Office, LLC, doing business as Lincoln Square Law (“the firm,” “we”), you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site, though you’re still welcome to call us.
2. Information only, not legal advice
Everything on this site, guides, articles, checklists, answers to common questions, is general educational information. It is not legal advice, it doesn’t account for the facts of your situation, and it may be outdated by the time you read it. Law changes, and legal deadlines can permanently end rights. Before acting or deciding not to act, consult an attorney about your specific case.
3. No attorney-client relationship from using this site
Visiting the site, reading content, downloading resources, or sending us a form, email, or message does NOT create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only when (a) we check conflicts of interest, (b) we agree to represent you, and (c) both sides sign an engagement letter. Until then, we are not your lawyers and cannot protect your deadlines.
4. A caution about unsolicited information
Until we confirm engagement in writing, information you send may not be protected by attorney-client privilege, though we will treat it with care and confidentiality under the professional rules that apply to prospective-client inquiries. That’s why our forms ask for only a brief description: save the sensitive details for the call.
5. Permitted use of the site
- You may read, print, and share links to our content for personal or internal non-commercial use, with attribution.
- You may not copy content to resell it, pass it off as your own, train commercial products on it, or use the site for unlawful activity, spam, or attempts to breach its security.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, and marks on this site belong to the firm or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Using them beyond what section 5 allows requires our written permission.
7. Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party services, for example, Google Maps on our directions page, or scheduling platforms. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. No warranties and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, currency, or fitness for a purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, the firm is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities the law does not allow to be limited, or our professional duties to engaged clients.
9. Attorney advertising
This site may be considered attorney advertising under applicable rules. Lincoln Square Law is an assumed name under which Mohamed Law Office, LLC practices. Abdul Kadir Mohamed is the attorney responsible for this site and is licensed in Illinois and Missouri. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. We do not seek to represent anyone in jurisdictions where this site does not comply with local rules.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Illinois law, without applying its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute about the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Cook County, Illinois. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms: (312) 257-2260, terms@lincolnsquarelaw.com, or in writing to 2248 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60625.
12. Downloads, checklists, and white papers
Our content library is educational. A checklist can help organize information, but it cannot identify every deadline, exception, contract term, or fact that may change the legal analysis. White papers and legal updates describe authority and practice issues as of the date stated. Before relying on a form, agency procedure, statutory threshold, filing fee, or regulatory requirement, verify the current authority or obtain legal advice for your situation.
13. Scheduling and intake tools
Submitting an intake form or requesting an appointment does not guarantee that the firm can accept a matter. We must complete a conflicts review and decide whether representation is appropriate before an attorney client relationship is formed. Do not assume that the firm is protecting a deadline merely because you sent a website message. If a deadline may be approaching, call the firm and speak with a lawyer promptly.
14. Accessibility and alternative formats
We want the site and its resources to be usable by people with disabilities. If a page, form, or downloadable document is not accessible to you, contact us and we will work to provide the information in a reasonable alternative format. Our Accessibility Statement explains how to report a problem.
