What we’ve done
- Color contrast verified for text on both light and dark backgrounds across the site.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Form labels tied to every field, announced error messages, and confirmations with screen-reader announcements (aria-live).
- Semantic heading structure and text that scales to 200% without losing content.
- Respect for the system’s reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
- The language toggle is provided for navigation and translated material. Where a page or document is not yet available in Spanish, contact the firm.
Our office
If you need step-free access, a video meeting, an interpreter, large-print material, or another accommodation, contact us before your appointment so we can confirm the arrangement that will work for you.
Known limitations
Some older downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers; we are updating them. If you find a document you can’t use, ask us for an accessible format and we’ll provide it.
Tell us if something doesn’t work
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, we want to know so we can work to fix it. Call us at (312) 257-2260 or email accessibility@lincolnsquarelaw.com describing the page and the problem. We review accessibility reports promptly and will work with you on a practical alternative while a barrier is being addressed.
How we test and improve accessibility
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility work includes keyboard review, visible focus states, semantic headings, form labels and instructions, contrast review, reduced motion support, responsive text, and checks that interactive controls remain usable when text is enlarged. Automated tools can identify some problems, but they do not replace keyboard and screen reader review. We therefore treat accessibility as an ongoing quality process rather than a one time certification.
Forms, language, and documents
Interactive forms should provide programmatic labels, clear error messages, and a logical tab order. The language toggle controls are designed to remain keyboard operable and to expose their selected state to assistive technology. If a downloadable file is difficult to use, call or email us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.
Contact us about a barrier
Please tell us the page or document, the problem you encountered, the device or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it, and the best way to respond. We will acknowledge the report and work toward a practical resolution. You do not need to explain or prove a disability to request an accessible way to communicate with the firm.
