We aim to respond to new inquiries within one business day. Fee arrangements depend on the matter and are explained before representation begins.

The short form · 90 seconds
A few sentences is all we need for now. After a conflicts check, we'll send a fuller questionnaire if your matter calls for one.
What happens after you contact us
We first check for conflicts and make sure we understand the kind of matter you are bringing to us. If the firm may be able to help, we schedule a conversation with an attorney and tell you which documents would make that conversation useful. If a deadline may be approaching, say that at the beginning of the call. Do not rely on a website submission to stop or extend a legal deadline.
You do not need to write a legal brief in the intake form. A short description is enough. We can collect sensitive records through a more appropriate channel after the initial review. Representation begins only after the firm confirms that it can accept the matter and an engagement agreement is signed.
Preparing for the first conversation
Bring the document or event that created the problem, plus any paper that shows a deadline. For an injury matter, that may be a crash report, insurance correspondence, or a short treatment chronology. For immigration, it may be the latest notice, prior filing, civil documents, and travel history. For a business or healthcare matter, it may be the contract, license, policy, vendor agreement, incident record, or governance document that requires a decision. A concise chronology is often more useful than a large unsorted upload.
We use the first conversation to understand the objective, identify what is known, identify what still needs to be confirmed, and decide whether the firm can help. If the matter is accepted, the scope and fee arrangement are confirmed in writing. Until then, please do not assume that the firm is acting as your lawyer or monitoring a deadline.
For prospective clients, clarity also means knowing when the firm is not the right fit. A conflicts issue, subject matter outside our practice, timing, or capacity may prevent us from taking a matter. When that happens, prompt notice is important so the person can continue looking for counsel without losing time.
